HTML5 Video Player
Try the browser's HTML5 video player on YouView. Join the trial to use it when you watch videos in this browser.
You can leave at any time to return to the early-2011 player through Ruffle. A player choice in a video link takes priority over your trial preference.

About this trial
Try the 2011-style HTML5 controls with captions, annotations and local partner pre-rolls. Fullscreen, expand/shrink, playback speed and a yellow advertisement progress bar are available. The quality menu lists the files available for each upload. The classic suggestion end screen remains part of the Ruffle player.
You are not currently in the HTML5 trial.
The choice applies to this browser for six months, including signed-out visits.
